Its a little known fact these days that the 12 Days of Christmas most people just know from the song actually begin on Christmas Eve. It wasnt a countdown to Christmas like an Advent Calendar. Christmas Eve was the beginning of the merriment and revelry. So dont feel bad about listening to Jingle Cats a week or more after the big day. Or sipping more egg nog before it disappears in a puff of January. You're just continuing a proud Christmas tradition, like the Mari Lwid or the Yule Cat.
